Band and Nozzle Heaters

Band and Nozzle Heaters are plate heaters formed cylindrically to fit cylindrical heating molds. Kanthal® flat ribbons are wound on mica insulation and are then enclosed in metallic sheets. Tightly fastened through set screws to maximize heat transfer. Commonly used, but not limited to, in plastic extrusion machine.
